The Snug at The Beatherder!

As a great man once nearly said, the Snug should be as safe, warm and comforting as a favourite pair of slippers. From the Snug comes the hum of excited voices, for it is here – around the glowing embers of hope – that the voices of the soul commune. A place where owt can happen.
The Snug presents for a 5th year, from our Ethel’s living room, some of the snuggest jocks playing the tightest tunes on the planet. This year will feature some oversized portions of soul chips n funk gravy from our Snug Jocks, plus plenty of delicious guests over the weekend.

At the Happy Slap Boutique experience will be like no other. After getting transformed into creatures and characters at our make-up and face-painting boutique get ready to be immersed in magical worlds, dazzled by spectacular cabaret shows, wowed by our traveling circus and entertained in ways you never thought possible!
Happy Slap Boutique present a world of fairy tales and mischief full of secrets to explore and discover, we’ll be keeping you entertained and giggling all weekend. Bump into Jack Sprat, a narcoleptic sleeping beauty or climb up Rapunzel’s hair and witness our take on your classic fairy tales. Our performers will be traveling around the festival entertaining you where you least expect it through music, song, dance and ridiculousness.

With this philosophy firmly in mind, The Proper North are proud to present ‘The Love Shack 2’ bringing together some of our best friends from the Northern Party scene playing nothing but the finest in Swing, Rock n Roll, Soul, Funk, Disco, Punk and House (sometimes all at the same time) also featuring exclusive Mash-Ups from The Love Shack Residents.
